Prepare for Palforzia,
Step by Step.
We understand that this is a dynamic time for you as you go through the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 outbreak. While you adapt, if you are looking for ways to prepare for your child’s peanut allergy treatment, we’ve created a process for you and your allergist. So you can take steps now and get closer to your first day of treatment.
Patient Education
Aimmune is committed to providing you with the information you need to better prepare for treatment – and to ensure that PALFORZIA is right for you and your family.
Commitment Consideration
PALFORZIA is administered over a number of months and will require a commitment from the entire family. Now is a good time to discuss as a family the time, energy, and support necessary for PALFORZIA treatment.
Peanut Allergy Confirmation
Does your allergist have the most current peanut allergy diagnosis and lab information for your child? Please consider the following items before having a follow-up conversation with your allergist.
Request a Virtual Consultation & Complete REMS Enrollment
Some healthcare providers are offering virtual consultations (video conference or telephone call) while social distancing guidelines are in place. Please contact your physician’s office to ask about this option. If a virtual consultation is available, it is a great time to ask questions, enroll in PALFORZIA REMS (together with your allergist), and start the process.
The PALFORZIA REMS (Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy) Program is a safety program that manages the risk of anaphylaxis associated with PALFORZIA. The PALFORZIA REMS is required by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ensure the potential benefits of PALFORZIA outweigh its risks. Every patient prescribed PALFORZIA is required to be enrolled in the PALFORZIA REMS. Talk to your health care provider for details on how to enroll in the REMS program.

Aimmune is committed to providing affordable access to every eligible patient. Programs available to support you as you prepare for your appointment are:
